Another eye on women

For my graduation collection, I chose to explore the female gaze as a design approach in response to the lack of women in creative leadership within the fashion industry. Although women dominate fashion consumption and education, they remain underrepresented in decision-making roles. Mainly Inspired by Sophie Calle’s exploration of intimacy and private spaces, I developed soft, folded forms that translate emotional closeness into structure. In parallel, I analyzed the everyday habits of women around me, focusing on how bags are used, carried, and organized. The resulting collection balances discreet functionality and sensuality, proposing accessories designed by a woman, for women, that accompany the body rather than perform for it.
