It's Not That Hard; Designing the Furniture Experience

We own a lot and care about almost none of it. This project asks whether the way furniture is designed, made and owned can change that. Building on Enzo Mari's Autoprogettazione, I built a web configurator that generates a unique, structurally sound stool from standard hardware-store timber. Each person designs their own, then builds it by hand, with nails, at a shared event. It won't fix over-consumption, but it leaves people trusting their own hands.
