La Moon is a lounge chair designed for the younger Gen Z audience, inspired by the soft, recognisable form of a crescent moon. The project explores how playful, sculptural forms can be combined with comfort, functionality and practical manufacturing. The chair was developed through iterative prototyping to refine its scale, proportions and ergonomics. It features an 18 mm birch plywood structure combined with a tensile fabric seat, creating a lightweight and visually distinctive design. The final product was designed with CNC manufacturing and flat-pack construction in mind, allowing the chair to be efficiently manufactured, transported and assembled.
