This series of work is developed as a means to bring ceramics out into the public space by using the public transport system. Ceramics is also employed as a vehicle for sociality in non-place such as bus stops and public parks. A foldable cart is created out of recycled crates from the art shipping industry to transport geometric ceramic forms. The cart can contract and expand based on the strict rules of the Singapore public transport and is treated as a mobile pedestal for ceramic forms to move through the city. As I approach the bus stop, I will approach a stranger to join me in an exercise of placing the ceramic objects in response the urban environment. The social interactions that arise from this encounter was documented along with a set of instructions.
