Joinery and Expression in Veneer Tube Furniture This project began with a strong interest in materials and was inspired by existing veneer tube techniques. Veneer tubes are hollow structures made from laminated wood veneer, providing structural strength while using little material. Building on its material quality, my design focus was on applying wood's shaping possibilities — exploring how the tube's pressed form can introduce a new joinery concept and aesthetic expression in wood furniture.
